June 3, 2013 - A revelation and remembrance
Gotta slide to Turok.
Certainly not my favorite cover
But the comic is really coming to a hard-edged closure here. Andy is confronting his current and past demons, and making a choice of where to live and survive. Confronting the dinos, and his father - Turok, as well.
As has been true for quite a few issues, not a ton of dialogue in these comics - but Turok's commentary - particularly when Andy is leaving him - and Turok wishes no ill will - that's where the core of his character really turns.
Nice to see him finally starting to come around, and it's also a good way to close THIS part of the book on Valiant's Turok.
My thoughts get in the way.
I own a copy of this little guy. It's the first appearance of the Changeling, of course. And Spider-Man appears, too.
My copy isn't what I would call CGC-worthy, but I am still pretty happy to own it.
It also features Banshee - but for some crazy reason, I can't really figure out why they would TRUST Banshee - and NOT trust Spider-Man.
Outside of the BRIEF appearance of the Changeling, it's the STANDARD superhero fight battle. Mis-communication followed by brief battle that both sides don't battle too hard - and both sides leave the battle - neither one hating the other, but vowing to be tenuous friends next time.
