May 1, 2012 - Back from the dead?
But Tales is a bigger jump from the norm.
Out of a coma?
More about Bloodshot, eh? Cool dude, to say the least. This issue further examines the man and his powers behind the programming. It's another good one.
We learn more from a clinical approach how Bloodshot works in this book. His body works independently from his healing, and it changes priorities as he's healing to find, locate, and regenerate. He's able to do things that bodies are unable to do. The HARDCorps takes him away first as a possible other member to add to the team - before Neville gets there, and when they invade his brain, learn that his defenses work to repel even them - before his brain has an opportunity to act. Cool.
A real turn in this issue.
The top, get it? Sigh... I know. But in addition to that, the comic really makes a great new stride in its recording. This new book is REALLY great. Who would have thought it? Giant-Man is struggling with the loss of his shrinking power, acting like LOT less of a big jerk, and generally making strides toward being a real character. PLUS it continues to the next issue!
The Hulk, as well, makes a serious turn. I'm not sure why the back from the dead title - except Hulk - but Banner is more realistic, and Hulk is even MORE like his future self - not remembering Banner, lapsing at the appropriate time, and a great time-lapse drawing. Excellent.
