April 9, 2013 - Someone was asleep at the switch.
Even the Cap stuff is way better than Aric. Again.
I don't know who in the world was coming up with this stuff. But it is painfully bad.
It's like the worst of every comic rammed into twenty total pages of awesome-ville. And by awesome-ville, I mean the complete opposite of awesome-ville.
This is bad stuff.
Not for the faint of heart.
Invading earth, eh? Perhaps to put us out of our misery.
The Batman-esque dialogue that turns at every point with WHAMs and Kuh-ZAMS was intended for I don't know who, and no one could have been reading this tripe anywhere. Best twenty-six seconds ever.
Tony, of course!
Another great comic here. Happy is probably a LITTLE too young, but it works. Tony takes off to jump into another new fangled Iron Man suit - constructing one that can double the power - but for some reason doesn't let him fly anymore. He jumps into Mandarin's outpost prepared to take him on. One of the best parts of the comic is where Tony wishes he could patent some gadget that would open doors based around fingerprints! Yet another place where the science fiction leads to it - or mother of invention kind of things.
The Captain America segment brings Batroc. The leaper. While it is about as exciting a comic as you might expect for one with a villain called Batroc the Leaper, it is better than I thought it would be. Batroc actually gains some sense of valor - and attacks the HYDRA men that attacked Cap from behind, and Batroc allows Steve to save the girl - and then decides to head off for another day. Certainly he's way too stereotypical a French accent, but otherwise it isn't terrible.
