December 3, 2011 - You take the wheel
But I'll give it to Shellhead.
Think I'm done here.
This one's pretty good, too. It's great to see X-O coming around again after its short terrible comics. We close off the Antarctic side of the line - with Good Skin on a big freeze. He quickly escapes the rock and ice mass, but learn that he really could have been captured.
Best parts of the book are the political posturing that occurs about halfway through the book until the ending. We find connections to high government officials, and the best parts - how it quickly collapses around them. Aric re-takes control of Orb, using some strong-arming, and throws Ken to the curb again. Really, why does he keep this kid around? Then gives up the armor - perhaps temporarily (we know, three issues), and heads to parts unknown.
Black Widow returns, and brings Hawkeye with her. What a great character. It will kill me when I get to the point of reading West Coast Avengers, again. I know that it isn't much of a comic, but I really did love it and him back in the day.
This is a DANG good comic. The writers are REALLY making a turn with the main stories now, and you can feel the sci-fi aspect taking a back seat to the super-hero books of the time.
The story - of a costumed hero who unwittingly falls in love with a villain - then becomes mis-labelled. But the art is divine.
