February 14, 2012 - To finish up the story...
Still with Magnus here
When did you come from?
Sweet. This issue picks up when Ivar jumped out of the last BWS story, and took Ivar to the future on E-7's time capability. Of course, the robot immediately falls under the Malev control. Great.
The story is a good one. The author had an excellent handle of Ivar - it seemed a lot like an old BWS story at the helm. Light, but direct. Excellent.
Ivar's presence turns the tide in a quick battle, and he is able to re-program Rai - through Bloodshot - to turn the Blood of Heroes and save Magnus in the future. A bit convoluted, but a great lively read.
Final note - a little humorous to see the preview of Timewalker's upcoming story - a book that won't hit the shelves for a WHILE!
Look who's back. DIABLO!
The book jumps back into a TON of hokey science. Not at all Stan Lee's strength. Potions? Magic boxes? Bringing things to life? A giant square rock that fell from space? All this and more are within this book.
Peter Parker shows up, too. Briefly. But the most interesting stuff in the comic is the budding romance - finally - between Reed and Sue. Meet before the heart shaped tree, and you'll be married. Sheesh.
Dragon Man is sucked into Dead Man's lake, Diablo disappears, and cliches abound in this one.
